OPENS DOORS

Alumni database

We thought it would be a good idea to have our own alumni database - for a couple of reasons. Firstly, it is good to know what our students are doing now, where they are living and who they are working for. Hopefully this also helps us to answer questions (in generic terms e.g. about career opportunities) from our current students. Secondly, we thought it might be a good idea to have an annual newsletter which would let you know what is happening within the department, and with any graduates who are happy to have such information published.

Any information included in the database would be there on the understanding that it is covered by the Privacy Act and that no information would be given out without permission.

If you do not give your permission, then none of the information we have about you will be stored in our files.

However, we hope that you will help us in our endeavour to have a useful list of our graduates.

Do you know any way of contacting other graduates we may have lost contact with? If you are able to provide either an e-mail address, or a postal address, then we will contact them by writing to them.

If you are willing to help, then we would be pleased to receive any information you care to give us, either by contacting us via email to the alumni email address, or by filling out the first three fields, and any of the other fields on the alumni database form.

This is the sort of information we are interested in receiving :

  • Where are you living at present(country, city, address - details at your discretion)?
  • Contact information (phone, fax, email - as above)
  • Are you in a computer related industry?
  • What is your job title?
  • Who are you working for?
  • May we have a contact address there ? (fax, phone, postal address - whatever you are happy for us to have)
  • Names of any other graduates you may like to pass on for us to contact.

If you would prefer to send us your business card you can do so to the address below.

Thank you for your time.
