This talk will report on national surveys of Australians and New Zealanders that looked at use of the internet for health information. Questions asked included whether respondents search for health information, whether they do before going to the doctor, whether they find such information to the doctor and find it more useful than doctor-provided information, and whether they check the source of internet-obtained information.
