I will report on implementing a Mastery Learning model in an introductory computer programming paper. I will show statistics and pretty graphs in an attempt to convince the listener that Mastery Learning is good. This result could have implications for teaching introductory papers in any topic that produces a distribution of grades with two humps (many A's and many fails).
