Some of the more commonly presented Augmented Reality systems use a marker based vision toolkit to provide the primary input to the system. There are ways that we may wish to interact with an AR system, that we cannot achieve with a collection of little black and white symbols. I will present an AR environment that can use the participant's hands for input without markers and speculate on the future of marker free AR.
