Last year, with the cooperation of the Otago Polytechnic School of Design, we built an experimental video screen in the form of a 3 metre diameter dome constructed like a frame tent. So far, we have used it for two projects: "The Virtual Shopping Cart" and "Hang Glider Simulator". Neither project is perfect, but we've had a lot of fun and discovered some of the real challenges in Virtual Reality.
